The holidays have officially arrived in New York as A Christmas Story opens at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on November 19. The holiday musical is set to run through December 30.
Directed by John Rando, the musical adaptation of the beloved 1983 film brings the iconic BB-gun craving Ralphie Parker and his family to the Broadway stage. The musical follows Ralphie's (Johnny Rabe) lead up to Christmas with his quirky family members the Old Man (John Bolton), Mother (Erin Dilly), Randy (Zac Ballard), as well as Santa (Eddie Korbich). Dan Lauria stars as the narrator, Jean Shepard.

A Christmas Story features music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and a book by Joseph Robinette. The production also features scenic design by Walt Spangler, costumes by Elizabeth Hope Clancy, lighting by Howell Binkley, sound by Ken Travis, wigs by Tom Watson, orchestrations by Larry Blank, music direction and supervision by Ian Eisendrath, dance music arrangements by Glen Kelly and vocal arrangements by Justin Paul.
